And So it Begins.

Have given me a reason to smile again. You are doing things with me that no one has ever done before. You are given me feelings that I thought I would never have again. But most importantly, youre taking my broken heart and mending it one little piece at a time. And that, to me, means more than anything. 

I saw a shooting star tonight. I’ve been asking God for a sign lately..and He finally gave me one. To go to infinity and beyond with you. <3

So I havent posted in a SUPER long time..theres many reasons as to why but i dont really find them that important, so I think I’ll just quickly update you on my life. 

Another season of Pulse has started and I’m loving it as always :) Being back with my big brother, MAnny, and best buds Efren and Moe..man those guys..I’ve missed them way too much. Its gonna be a good year..I can already tell ;D

Been going to Disneyland alot too thanks to a special someone who gives me more chances to go :D. I’ll tell you about them in a bit. I’ll never get tired of Disneyland no matter what the haters say. Its a place for me to go and escape. To get away from all the drama. 

Still teaching at Chino Hills. I’ve kind of taken over the Tom section. Haha Those are like my babies! I love them all so much :’) I worked out with them the other day and then brought them ice cream..haha counter-productive I know but oh well!

Things at home are pretty good. Me and my brother are getting a really strong relationship which is something Ive wanted for a really long time now. Ive helped him with his college applications and even went and toured a University with him. He’s growing up..and im not sure how i like it haha..he’s grown into such a loving and kind man, and I’m so proud of him. 

Its November…wow…time flies huh? Ive been back from Coats for 2 months now and it still feels like yesterday that i flew home. And yet another season is about to start..I’m contemplating..I really am. But at the same time i know I’ll regret it if i dont go..theres my hip to worry about, school, money..sigh..i’ll know soon enough i guess. I have to thank my parents from the bottom of my heart for supporting me in all that Ive wanted to do. I owe them so much..<3

Im gonna try and blog more often..TRY. hahah Good news: ITs Holiday season ya’ll. My favorite time of the year :)

Talk about Blast from the Past. Today I took Rachele with me to school like always on thursdays and tried to have a conversation with her mom. Not gonna lie, it was kind of awkward. Oh how things change. Its funny how the first thing people ask me is how my summer went. And every time, no matter how many times I’m asked, I cant think of any words to express how much of a life changing experience it was. My summer was amazing. And that doesnt even begin to cover the half of it. I miss my Bloo family. 

Anyways..got off topic. Talked about high school with Paul, Hector and Amy today at lunch. You know just reminiscing. I didnt go to my psychology class..oh well. haha When I went home I relaxed for a little bit then hung out with Spencer and again reminisced about the old days. We planned to go to chino hills together for their rehearsal. I hadnt been to their rehearsal in a while because I’ve been so busy! its crazy. But I walked in and was greeted by the smiles and faces that I live for. Those kids man..I wouldnt trade them for the world (:

As we were about to head out to the field, Mr. Shay Sawyer walks in the room. I was so happy to see him (: and about half an hour later Mr. Brett Rocha shows up. :P These kids man. Ive missed em. We talked about all the high school memories, good and bad. Laughing at the stuff we never thought we’d be able to laugh about. Talking about then, talking about now. How weve all come so far from where we first met and started hitting drums together. Theyre a part of me. A big part of my life. They understand what I love. And although we dont talk as much or see each other as often as I’d like those boys will always have a special place in my heart. (: To everyone thats seen me grow and helped me along the way, been there experiencing life with me, the ups and downs of growing up…thank you. Each and every one of you that has walked into my life, no matter how long you stayed, I am the person I am today because of the influence you’ve had on my life. Thank you, thank you, thank you. From the bottom of my heart. <3

This past weekend was spent with my cousins and their family. Friday beach house, saturday was a ‘changle’ day, and sunday was an epic adventure at the camarillo outlets.

Let me tell you about these outlets..i think the entire population of southern california wanted to go there on that fine sunday. god help us all. I ended up buying 2 pairs of nikes though for under $100. not too shabby huh? Anyways, it was nice to spend time with them. I dont get to see my cousin very often so anytime i get with her is time i wont take for granted. 

This morning though, i think i made her hate me because i tried to take her on a run with me..bad idea. she’ll be in shape soon though and kicking my butt haha. Just remember bri, youre not gonna puke ;P

I have tests in all of my classes this week. not too excited..sigh. back to reality i guess..

I shot an episode oF GLEE today. I am now going to tell you all about it :D

So me and vanessa ended up driving to Paramount Studios ourselves. The casting director Christine had a laminate for our car saying she was expecting us all professional-like and cool :P. So we got their about 9:30am and waited for another girl to show up so we could take a shuttle over to set. And these shuttles are leaving like every 30 seconds cuz theres lots of people needing to get to sets, including the stars themselves :}. I was standing there and a Range Rover starts pulling in the lot, and a girl that looks really familiar is in the drivers seat..it was Tina from Glee! (the asian one..haha) So she parked and got out of the car and walked right into one of our shuttles! :O i was freaking out at that point but vanessa got me calmed down haha. 

After the last girl got there, we got in one of the shuttles and before we knew, we were on the set of the show. I started recognizing different scenes that i had seen on the show so i was getting even more out of control..haha. We went to wardrobe first to get our costumes and then went and got the drums which had WMHS on it. (thats the high school they go to on Glee :P). We had our own tent amongst all the stars trailers which was pretty cool. 

By that time we had to go into rehearsal for a little bit with the dancers and some of the cast. that happened for about an hour but let me tell you, walking into that gym with the lights, all the big cameras and chairs and everything..ohmy. it was intense. But i tried to contain it. SO. theres a part in our choreography where we are in lines across the front and we whip our heads to the front. WELL. one of the first times we ran that, i whipped my head to the front and right in front of my face..literally a foot from my face was Santana..im pretty sure my heart stopped beating at that point. But dont worry guys im still alive. :P By the way, Heather Morris, which is the girl that plays Brittney is a BEAST at daancing. And shes probably the coolest one in the entire cast. As it was a long day, alot of us and the dancers were getting kind of tired and she was always making sure everyone stayed energetic and ready to go. Making jokes and being goofy. Love her. Oh and Darren Criss came into our rehearsal and was hyping it! hes a cool guy too and he was wearing the cutest outfit! :D

After rehearsal we were dismissed to eat and the food..good lord. It was gourmet, all day. chicken, lasagna, swordfish, smoothies. ANYTHING you could ever want. they had. It was crazy. Some of the cast and dancers came and ate with us too. The dancers are like perfect btw. Ive never seen so many perfect people in one room in my life. EXACTLY how the cast looks on t.v. they look in real life. No joke. Anywayss..

After lunch it was in for shooting. which took all the way until 8:30 -____-. It was definitely cool though having all the cast in their doing their choreography, us doing ours, the extras screaming and cheering. It was a blast and something i’ll never forget. Oh and JAne lynch did her part in 1 take. 1 TAKE! everyone cheered for her after that it was great. I love her! and she was 50 feet away from me..aye aye aye. haha. 

We did have an injury though.. :( the girl that was playing the tuba fell and got hit by a camera during the choreography and split her lip and bruised her knee pretty bad. She was okay but she was a trooper! had to sign some papers..prolly so she wouldnt sue them haha. but yeah. 

Overall it was a super long day and my feet were definitely aching by the end, but would i do it again? hell yeah. We were treated like stars and felt part of the cast all day. Working with the choreographer zack was amazing, hes such a sweetheart, gave us kisses goodbye and everything :). T.v. is crazy man. A minute and 30 second number took almost 8 hours to shoot..i cant imagine wha it takes to do a whole episode..but nonetheless, amazing day. Im gleeked out for the of my life and be looking out for me in season 3! ill let everyone know when itll be aired as soon as I know :) 

14 hours later, 13 pounds of sweat later, 2765948 of startstruck looks later..

Im gonna be on Glee. Holy shit. To make a long story short, its an all girl scene and im playing snare drum of course but its gonna be badass. 

 Today we met at RCC and it was really good to see all the drummer girls from socal in one room doing this amazing gig. Being able to talk about bunches of stuff without the boys interrupting :P. We got on the charter bus after me and Vanessa tried to find parking for forever -_-. Community college parking is atrocious. But yeah. It was off to Hollywood, Paramount Studios to be exact. Being in a studio with choreographers and chairs that say Glee on the back..startstruck let me tell you. 

 We started learning a bunch of choreography which was super fun. And the choreographers we worked with were super chill. Then…Brittaney from the show walked in the studio, and when i thought i couldnt get any more startstruck..i did. man oh man. haha she even tried on a snare drum it was funny. highlight of the day for sure. We worked the choreography with our equipment on for a bit, then we ate, courtesy of the studios then before we knew it, it was 6. time to head back, in the heat of LA traffic. But it was all good cuz we got to have more lady talk time :). Being on the charter bus again, definitely reminded of drum corps im not gonna lie haha. 

So i shoot the actual episode on Thursday..crazy. Music. Dancers. Glee cast. Hair. Makeup. Wardrobe. Lights..Camera..Action.

A post is coming that is going to sum up my summer. Its been a long time coming i know but trust. It’ll come :)
